Rihards is SSE Riga lecturer and runs a consultancy company that develops and implements Business Intelligence solutions. He teaches Business/Leadership skills, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence courses for BSc, Executive MBA and Open program students. Previously Rihards worked for six years in an FMCG company in Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial functions in 10+ countries as Finance Business Partner. There he developed global Business Intelligence and reporting automation solutions as well as worked with multiple companies across Europe as an internal consultant.

 

Context

Attending this interactive online  workshop will help you better understand what creates stress, how to be aware of it and strategies to combat it. We will look at different techniques, frameworks, and methods to raise resilience and be prepared to face stress, improve your wellbeing, and use it as a vehicle to achieve more for your personal greatness.

Content

Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on their most stressful situations at work and get useful tools on how to overcome them.

Key topics covered during the workshop will be:

  • Why burnout can be detrimental to your career and how to prevent it?
  • 4 levels of stress, how to recognize them and what strategies to use to combat them?
  • How to deal with difficulties, create resilience, and be robust enough to face failures and mistakes?
  • How sleeping, eating, exercising impacts and helps in combatting stress?
  • What are the practical steps, tips and action plans to combat stress?

 

As part of the workshop you will have practical tasks and will create action plans that can be used immediately to improve one’s wellbeing and increase your mastery in stress management.

The interactive online environment will ensure direct contact, feedback, and an excellent opportunity to both learn and apply this knowledge straight away.

The group size is limited to 16 people and thus will allow each participant to reflect on their assignment (to be sent 1 week prior to the workshop), receive analysis and feedback with suggestions.
