Public Lecture: The Economics of the Russia-Ukraine War

On September 22, as part of the Bachelor programme's Finance Specialization course, Marta Khomyn, a Lecturer at the Adelaide Business School and a Visiting Lecturer at SSE Riga, will give a talk on what Economics and Finance research tells us about the state of Russia-Ukraine war. The lecture will be held on-site, and we cordially invite everyone interested in the topic to join us. There is no need for prior registration, so feel free to attend and expand your knowledge on this subject.

Marta Khomyn

Dr Marta Khomyn is a Lecturer at the Adelaide Business School and a Visiting Lecturer at SSE Riga. Her research focuses on FinTech, Market Microstructure, and Crypto Finance. Marta also consults for the World Bank on  Digital Innovation. Prior to joining the University of Adelaide, Marta has been a Visiting Researcher at Chi-X Australia, a stock exchange. 

Marta holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Technology Sydney, and a MSc in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics. Marta completed her BSc degree at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (Class of 2014).
