The programme is jointly implemented by several representatives of education and industry – Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Latvian Academy of Arts, Riga Graduate School of Law, Rēzekne Academy of Technology, consulting company Civitta Latvija and industry partners (Latvian Social Entrepreneurship Association, Zero Waste Latvia, Techhub, Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia, Rezekne Business Association, Latvian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association).

The program focuses on environmental and social innovation issues (ESI). The aim is to provide students with the knowledge and resources who want to make the world more sustainable.

Students are given the opportunity to work on the development of new products or services in various educational formats and the initial examination of their viability. Within the framework of the programme, various educational study courses, business laboratories, incubators, webinars and other events will take place, in which every student of Latvian universities can participate in order to develop their business ideas.

Students who participate in the incubator training will have the opportunity to receive a scholarship to develop their business ideas. 

The programme and its various activities will continue until the end of 2023.

The programme has already hosted two business lab courses, inspiration webinars on social entrepreneurship and eco-innovation, and a Techhub xTechchill Student Challenge 2022 event with ESI support.
