SSE Riga is pleased to have been awarded a new Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the period 2021-2027

Obtaining an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) is a prerequisite to participation in the Erasmus+ programme which includes student and staff mobility and cooperation for innovation and good practices.

Mostly taking place in the 5th semester of SSE Riga Bachelor programme studies, Erasmus+ is a mobility programme among education institutions in the EU countries (including the Republic of North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, Serbia). The list of SSE Riga’s Erasmus+ partner institutions is available here

SSE Riga students also use the opportunity of having an Erasmus+ internship in the summertime in one of the program countries and gaining practical experience in the international environment there.

SSE Riga will continue to work towards the implementation of quality criteria, such as the automatic recognition of academic work completed while on an exchange, non-discrimination, transparency, and support for students and staff participating in Erasmus+ projects.

As one of the 2021 novelties, students can either do a physical, a virtual or a blended type of mobility.

Despite the challenging situation in mobility, 11 incoming students have started their studies at SSE Riga in Spring 2021 (5 from Belarus, 1 - France, 3 - Spain, 2- Germany).

The call for outgoing students Fall 2021 is closed, 40 applications were received from SSE Riga students.
