SSE Riga’s 30th Anniversary Concert

This year’s 30th-anniversary celebrations will conclude with a special concert at the historic Riga Latvian Society House, Merķeļa Street 13.

"The spirit of SSE Riga is rooted in its community. Over the years, we have been grateful for the incredible support and contributions from our students, alumni, staff, and faculty, all of whom have shaped SSE Riga as we know it today. Of course, our friends, supporters, and Swedish partners have also played an important role in our growth, for which we are deeply thankful. To come together and celebrate our journey, I warmly invite everyone to join us for an evening of beautiful music in honor of 30 years of SSE Riga," says Rector Anders Paalzow.

The anniversary concert will feature internationally acclaimed Latvian and Swedish artists, including sopranos Inese Galante and Marlēna Keine, whose voices have graced prestigious stages worldwide. They will be joined by accordionist Anastasija Zubova, cellist Kristina Winiarski, saxophonist Theo Hillborg, known for blending classical and contemporary styles, and pianist John Nalan, renowned for his passionate performances. The SSE Riga Mixed Choir will complement the evening with the voices of students and alumni.

Thanks to the generous support of Anders Wall Stiftelse, entrance is free, but we kindly ask you to register below. Please join us early for a glass of wine and a toast, starting at 16:30.

The hosts for the evening will be our graduates and Anders Wall Scholarship recipients, Nora Ķigure (BSc Class of 2024) and Avo Kaasik (BSc Class of 2000).
