SSE Riga strengthens regional cooperation at mentorship programme launch in Vilnius
SSE Riga continues to contribute to leadership development and regional cooperation across the Baltic region.
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania (SCCL) mentorship programme was launched in Vilnius at an event hosted by the Swedish Embassy in Lithuania. The programme brings together mentors and mentees for a six-month period focused on personal and professional development. Mentees are either students or recent graduates, and mentors are senior business leaders from Swedish and international companies in Lithuania.
The event opened with remarks by H.E. Lars Wahlund, Ambassador of Sweden to Lithuania, and SCCL Chairman Jokke Nurminen. The event programme featured a talk by SSE Riga Rector Anders Paalzow, who shared SSE Riga’s experience in empowering leadership in youth and discussed the process of becoming a leader.
The event also highlighted SSE Riga’s close ties with Lithuania. Students from Lithuania form an important part of the SSE Riga community, and the School maintains close partnerships with the Swedish Chambers of Commerce in both Latvia and Lithuania, supporting leadership development and cross-border cooperation.
