The SSE Riga community welcomes the Bachelor Class of 2028
Mid-August is always an exciting time at SSE Riga! After a rigorous admissions process, we are thrilled to welcome our new Year 1 students onsite and greet back senior students from their summer break.
This week, 135 students from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Belarus, Georgia, North Macedonia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan took their first steps on the SSE Riga journey during a special welcome event in Soros Auditorium.
The newcomers were warmly greeted by Rector Anders Paalzow, Student Association leaders Romija Roze and Roberts Stangainis, Alumni Association President Kristaps Siliņš, our dedicated staff and faculty, and the SSE Riga Choir, performing the traditional Gaudeamus song.
With more than 3,000 graduates worldwide, the Class of 2028 is stepping into a strong and supportive community where alumni continue to provide guidance, encouragement, and opportunities through scholarships, mentorships, guest lectures, and internships.
Congratulations to the Class of 2028! Here’s to three exciting years filled with learning, growth, and new connections within the SSE Riga family.
