SSE Riga welcomes the Class of 2029 and new exchange students

A new academic year has begun at SSE Riga, bringing 151 Bachelor students to the School as the Class of 2029, alongside 32 exchange students from 11 countries.

This year’s Bachelor class joins SSE Riga following a highly competitive admissions process, with five applicants competing for each study place.

The Class of 2029 brings together students of 10 nationalities. The largest group comes from Latvia, followed by Estonia, Lithuania, Belarus and Georgia. The class also includes students from Ukraine, Israel, Poland, Russia and Turkmenistan.

SSE Riga is also welcoming 32 exchange students this semester, representing 11 countries across Europe and beyond. The largest groups come from Spain, Germany and France, with six students from each country, followed by Italy with four and Finland with three. Other exchange students have arrived from the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Kazakhstan, Mexico and Hong Kong SAR, China.

With returning students back in the classrooms as well, SSE Riga is once again full of activity as the new academic year gets underway. A warm welcome to the Class of 2029, our exchange students and all returning students!
