Guna Emīlija Zobena is a Research Assistant and a third-year Bachelor's student at SSE Riga. She is currently contributing to the State Research Programme project No. VPP-IZM-Letonika-2025/1-0002: "Between risk and hope: demographic changes and (re)migration in Latvia during the Russian war in Ukraine." Outside of academia, she is an active member of the folk dance ensemble "Zalktis" and sings in the gospel choir "GG Choir".
