Student-Run Webinar for Prospective International Students: How to Study Hard so You Can Party Later

Wouldn’t it be of so much help if someone who has gone through the SSE Riga admissions journey just recently was there to help you out with your journey ahead?

Since the start of January 2021, the newly elected Board of the SSE Riga Student Association has been successfully fulfilling its duties. Although this is the first team to start its obligations during a worldwide pandemic, it has not stopped them from supporting students and caring about their needs.

In two short months, the Student Association has already organized a Virtual Valentine's Day event, cheered up the second-year students during their studies with free snacks (by foodraising 1.6k EUR for this) and embraced all students to join weekly cross-country skiing practice for the first time in the School’s history.

They have also planned something for those who are thinking about joining the SSE Riga student community this Autumn. Don’t miss out on the chance to take part in a webinar for prospective students run by current students!

The Student Association Board invites prospective Bachelor programme international students to join an hour-long webinar "How to Study Hard so You Can Party Later" on March 18, 15:00.

The webinar will be held in English.

During the webinar, SSE Riga students will tell and show what student life really looks like and international students will share personal stories about living and studying in Riga.

You will have an opportunity to hear practical tips and tricks on how to prepare for admission tests, participate in an engaging virtual format competition (win a prize!) and ask any questions you might have about studies and student life at SSE Riga.

It's an easy place to get around, most of the destinations are walkable. The city is full of stunning architecture and green parks - when the weather is nice, I always enjoy a little walk between the lectures. Moreover, Latvia has a good railway system, which allowed me to explore the country with one-day trips around Riga. It took me just a few days to feel at home!

The School’s environment is amazing! All facilities have been built exclusively for the students` comfort. Riga has excellent public transport – buses and trams run according to schedule and are always clean and comfortable. Most people are fluent in Russian or English, so you can always ask for help.
