Strupule Sibilla

Sibilla Strupule is the Business Lab Director, where she leads the School's entrepreneurship programmes and hands-on venture-building activities across the BSc curriculum and the SSE Business Lab Riga. 

A serial entrepreneur with over a decade of experience spanning SaaS, deep-tech, and sustainability, she has co-founded and scaled multiple ventures, including one acquired in 2018. 

She has won more than 20 international awards for her work, including recognition from the United Nations and the World Bank. 

Her focus is pitch and investment readiness: preparing founders and executives to raise capital and present with authority. To date she has trained over 500 founders whose companies have collectively raised more than €70 million. 

She is also a European Innovation Council "Tech to Market" mentor for deep-tech ventures, an international keynote speaker, a former WEF Global Shaper, and a co-organiser of ProductTank Riga. Her perspective on building fundable companies has been featured in Forbes, the Financial Times and TechCrunch.
