Networking and Matchmaking: World Turns Deep Tech

On 25th September, the third networking and matchmaking event "World Turns Deep Tech" for young scientists and students of economics, business, design, law, and other specializations will take place at SSE Riga with a particular focus on topics related to future energy possibilities.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn from representatives of the leader in green energy generation in the Baltics Latvenergo AS about the company's vision for green or future energy in Latvia and, more broadly, learn about the science commercialization experience from the perspective of technology-intensive start-ups, and learn about other energy sector news, and much more.

At the event, participants will have the opportunity to network with presenters, idea generators and implementers in an informal setting, developing a creative and innovative ecosystem for the circulation of ideas.

Participation in World Turns Deep Tech is free. The organizers will provide participants with snacks and refreshments.

World Turns Deep Tech is organized by the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga in collaboration with the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) and ISSP UL Foundation. This event is part of the EIT project UNITeD: Universities for deep tech and entrepreneurship.

This year’s World Turns Deep Tech networking and matchmaking event is organized as a warm-up for the Hydrogen X Future Hackathon, which will take place from 6th to 8th October at the ISSP UL, Ķengaraga Street 8. The main prize of the hackathon - 3000 EUR.
