Civitta Latvia is the leading management consultancy with a presence in 18 countries in the CEE/Nordic region. It has 27 offices and more than 380 employees. Civitta provides management consulting and data analytics services to corporations, startups, SMEs, governments and NGOs.

“We, Civitta Latvia, are very happy to cooperate with ESI Student Innovation Program because the goal is to help both experienced and young entrepreneurs to gain new skills, knowledge and secure financing that would help to develop their business ideas. Therefore, we also coordinate Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program and offer mentorship for graduates of ESI Incubator.” - says Solveiga Sama, Project Manager at Civitta Latvia.

The seminar will be focused on opportunities that newly established startups can implement, such as different local structural funds, the European innovation grant scheme EIT, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, the RIMI Open Innovation platform and SEB Bank opportunities for entrepreneurs.

Zanda Šadre, Corporate Responsibility and Communications Director at RIMI Baltic, reveals that RIMI actively seeks cooperation with new startups because it is a win-win cooperation for both sides. “When we think about early-stage startups, they need to grow, and we have a customer base that we can give access to for testing the new product, as well as help with endorsement, mentoring and, of course, funding.” Meanwhile, startups are challenging the industry to solve many important issues of sustainability and food waste. During the seminar, more information about the RIMI Open Innovation platform will be given.

Kārlis Karolis, Head of Baltic Innovations at SEB Latvija, emphasizes that "at SEB, we are always happy to help entrepreneurs realize their ambitions and ideas by being a stable and reliable partner from the moment the company was founded. To promote the development of the business environment, SEB bank implements several initiatives that help improve knowledge and skills useful in business, such as the Growth Program for companies that want to grow faster and be one step ahead of their competitors. The grant programs (in)spiration and "Up" are also implemented, where young entrepreneurs can receive financial support for implementing their idea and starting a business. SEB bank's Innovation Center is a place where entrepreneurs can receive support, learn, collaborate and achieve their goals." You will be able to learn more about SEB bank's opportunities for companies during the webinar.
