Balode Beāte Keina

Beāte Keina Balode is a Research Assistant and a third-year Bachelor’s student at SSE Riga. She is currently contributing to the State Research Programme project No. VPP-IZM-Letonika-2025/1-0002: “Between risk and hope: demographic changes and (re)migration in Latvia during the Russian war in Ukraine.” Prior to joining SSE Riga, Beāte Keina graduated from Riga State Gymnasium No. 1. Alongside her academic pursuits in economics, she has a rich background in music and leadership; she holds an advanced high-school level diploma in viola performance from the Jāzeps Mediņš Riga 1st Music School and serves as the Artistic Director of the gospel choir "GG Choir".
