Scholarships are awarded based on admission results or academic excellence to first- and second-year students who demonstrate excellence both academically and beyond the classroom. Estonian and Lithuanian alumni also show special support, encouraging students from their countries.

This year’s support is truly inspiring — EUR 218,080 in scholarships was awarded to 47 Bachelor students.

SSE Riga scholarship initiatives have strong traditions built over the years, thanks to the active engagement of our Alumni Association and its country chapters. These initiatives are made possible through the proactivity and volunteer efforts of our alumni and, of course, everyone who has contributed to the scholarship fund — every donation makes a difference.

Our supporters:

  • SSE Riga Foundation – EUR 148,750 in scholarships for 26 students
  • SSE Riga Alumni Association – EUR 48,200 for 15 scholarships, with SEB contributing EUR 10,500 for 3 of them

  • Lithuanian alumni – EUR 5,200 for 1 scholarship

  • Estonian alumni – EUR 12,230 for 4 scholarships

  • Executive MBA Class of 2025 alumni – EUR 3,700 for 1 symbolic scholarship “To the Future Leader”
     

Reflecting on the Scholarship Ceremony, Rector Anders Paalzow said: "Our community has always excelled at supporting one another and remains committed to giving back, ensuring that future generations of talented students receive the recognition and support they truly deserve. I am proud of this and hope that those who have received support will, in time, continue the tradition by supporting others.”
