Peter Zashev

Peter Zashev is an academic, entrepreneur and business trainer working intensively with big and small companies in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and Russia. Peter is Bulgarian by origin, Finnish by nationality, Estonian by residence, Swedish by main place of work and with an extensive Russian experience. He speaks English, Russian, Bulgarian and Finnish. Peter holds a MSc degree from the St Petersburg State University in Russia and a PhD from Hanken School of Economics in Finland, currently Peter is a Professor (adjunct) at SSE Riga. He is an international entrepreneur, investor and consultant, Peter co-owns two factories in Russia and Bulgaria and is an investor in several start-up projects, which he supports with money and advise. His consulting experience features many private customers and projects in international business strategy and marketing as well as offering expert services to national and international  organizations such as UNCTAD, EU and the GIZ. Peter has 18 years of experience being business trainer working with the top management teams of big companies across Europe with an accent on the Nordic countries, the Baltic States and Russia.

 

Context

Building one is not that easy and appears to be one of the most challenging tasks for business leaders and entrepreneurs. This is, perhaps, what makes Henry Ford say: “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” Once you start working together with passion, commitment and a mission, miracles start happening! But how do you make a high-performing team? It is not about attracting superstars, nor is it about securing unquestioned loyalty. Let’s come together, learn and discuss what we can do to develop our own teams and gear them for success! 

Who should attend

The workshop is aimed at team leaders and/or team members who want to understand how they can better contribute towards forming and developing a high-performing team. Thus, the only prerequisite for attending is the realization that in business, success is not an individual but a team sport!
