BICEPS

The Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies (BICEPS) is an independent research centre located in Riga, Latvia. BICEPS is a part of an integrated network of research centres and universities in the region with partners in the Baltic States, Sweden, Russia, Poland and Ukraine.

BICEPS aim is to undertake and promote high quality policy-oriented research in economics and other social sciences and to provide informed advice and consulting services for both government and business in the Baltic States and elsewhere.

 

SSE Riga / BICEPS Occasional Papers

The SSE Riga / BICEPS Occasional Papers present policy relevant research undertaken at SSE Riga and the Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies.

The papers cover the fields of economic, business and management. Some of the papers will be written within EU projects in which the School or BICEPS take part. Most papers are written in English, but papers could also be published in Latvian. The target group of the Occasional Papers comprises academicians as well as decision makers in the public and private sectors.

Baltic Journal of Economics (BJE)

The Baltic Journal of Economics (BJE) is a refereed scientific journal in economics. From the Spring of 2008 it is published jointly by SSE Riga and BICEPS.

The Journal is intended to provide a publication medium for original research in economics for scholars working in the Baltic States or those who are working with topics relevant for the Baltic States or for transition economies in general.

 





Collaboration with SSE Riga

BICEPS has an especially close collaboration with SSE Riga – Anders Paalzow, the Rector of SSE Riga, is a chairman of BICEPS and some of the BICEPS researchers are also lecturers at the School.
