The First Baltic School Conference on Education for Sustainable Development

The Centre for Sustainable Business at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, in cooperation with the Swedish Institute and the Embassy of Sweden in Latvia, invites you to the first Baltic school conference on education for sustainable development.

9:30 Thursday 21/02/2013 - Friday 22/02/2013

SSE Riga, Strēlnieku 4a, Soros Auditorium

At the conference, we aim to begin the discussion in the Baltic region on how to integrate education for sustainable development in school curricula. So far, there has not been an integrated approach to education for sustainable development in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, and we recognize the need to illustrate how to link a traditional framework of subject-based education to a more holistic educational approach of learning about sustainability, as well as to form and strengthen a network of experts who are working with issues of education for sustainable development.
