This year the Financial Economics course will include two new aspects
The first lecture of the Financial Economics course for Year 2 students took place on January 30th. This is one of the toughest and most demanding courses in the BSc programme curriculum.
This year, the course led by Associate Professor Anete Pajuste will include two new aspects:
1) Students will have a chance to practice their investment skills through an online trading platform. Overall, the students will receive 11,000,000 imaginary dollars to invest in stocks, options and futures.
2) Students will compete for two scholarships:
- Superia scholarship of EUR 1000 for the student with the highest exam score
- Zabolis Partners scholarship of EUR 1500 for the team with the best Financial Economics research paper
