Swedish Ambassador to Latvia Mats Staffansson stresses the high quality of SSE Riga

Swedish Ambassador to Latvia, Mats Staffansson, met with Latvian Parliament speaker Solvita Āboltiņa  on March 20th to discuss parliamentary cooperation, agreeing that the cooperation between the two parliaments is close and active.

Mrs. Āboltiņa identified SSE Riga as one of the most successful examples of cooperation between the two countries. Reforms in the education system are a priority for the Latvian government, and SSE Riga is a good example of an excellent and competitive education, she noted.
 
The ambassador, stressing the high-quality education offered by SSE Riga, added that not only youth from the Baltic states study there, but also from other former republics of the USSR - with financial support from the Swedish government.

Twenty Swedish Government Grants are offered for financing studies in the three-year BSc Programme in Economics and Business at SSE Riga.
