Students pitch projects to Senior Executives during the Retail Management Course
When feedback is given by industry professionals, it makes the study process much more real! Recently our students gained valuable experience by presenting their Retail Management course projects to the Rimi Baltic management team.
As part of the Retail Management course, bachelor programme students were given the task to carry out consultancy work and help the client solve a practical problem, e.g. analyse risks with a new competitor entering the market or price perception mismatch, etc.
This was done in co-operation with our partners and supporters from companies like Rimi, Jysk, Tamro and Instamart. The goal was to give students very practical and useful tasks and provide insight into retail fundamentals.
At the same time, this was an opportunity for SSE Riga to provide our partners with practical added value by doing research and providing relevant and applicable suggestions for improvement.
