The Class of 2017 receive diplomas

The SSE Riga Graduation Ceremony 2017 was held on June 3rd at Riga Congress Hall with an audience of approximately 900 guests. Grey clouds that had been present for most of the week finally parted, allowing the sun to shine bright on the Class of 2017.

FT Executive Education Rankings 2017: SSE Riga Executive Education is #1 in the Nordic and Baltic region

On May 15, 2017, the Financial Times published their annual worldwide ranking of executive education providers. According to the latest worldwide ranking, SSE Riga Executive Education is the number 1 provider in the Nordic and Baltic region and 26th in the world as part of the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) group. This year SSE has advanced its position in the global ranking by 2 positions.

SSE Riga study: Shadow economy in Latvia continues to contract, but still a lot has to be done

In 2016, Latvia saw a slight contraction of the shadow economy, thus continuing the long-term trend since 2013. In contrast, there has been a modest increase in the size of shadow economies in Lithuania and Estonia. Following this trend for several consecutive years, the gap between the sizes of shadow economies in the three Baltic countries has diminished considerably – a conclusion drawn by the authors of the annual survey of the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE Riga) Shadow Economy Index published today.

Entrepreneurship Training Course will be run in Daugavpils

The Entrepreneurship Training Course will be organized in Daugavpils from the 26th of April to the 9th of June 2017. Participants will learn about entrepreneurial identity, work in teams to develop business ideas and present their results at the end of the course in front of a panel of experts.
