SSE Riga adds a new specialisation course, Retail Management, to the BSc programme curriculum
The course brings together academics, retail entrepreneurs and executives, and consultants to the retail industry to share their perspectives with 40 students. The first lecturer was Peter Fedchenkov (in the photo), the Founder and CEO of Instamart, an online grocery retailer in Russia.
The course covers a broad range of functional topics, including strategy, online & offline marketing, and operations & supply chain.
As part of the course, teams of students will also partner with top retailers in the region to put their knowledge to its first test, solving real business problems in an international class project covering the Baltic markets and beyond.
Besides the retail management course, during their final year students of the three-year Economics and Business Programme can also choose to specialise in economics, finance, digital marketing, or entrepreneurship.
