Apply for the Baltic Economic Forum for Students until Jan 22!
All students of higher educational institutions who are interested in energy issues in the context of economics are invited to apply to participate in the Baltic Economic Forum for Students.
The Forum will take place from the 15th until the 17th of March, 2012. Lectures and workshops will be held at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Strēlnieku Street 4a. Participants will attend exciting lectures from top experts in four energy fields: oil, gas, electricity and nuclear energy. The first days of the forum will be devoted to plenary sessions dedicated to addressing problematic issues, while on the second day students will be able to attend lectures on important energy topics not covered in the plenary sessions. Finally, participants will present their analyses, findings and suggestions.
The Forum is looking for ambitious and inquisitive students from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia who have a basic understanding of economic themes such as international trade, microeconomics, and macroeconomics.
The application deadline is January 22, 2012.
The Forum is organised by SSE Riga students.
