AIESEC in Latvia has become an official partner of SSE Riga
The Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga) is thrilled to announce an official partnership with AIESEC in Latvia.
Under the agreement signed with SSE Riga President and Rector Anders Paalzow, AIESEC international exchange programmes are recognised as internships that are in line with SSE Riga internship requirements.
“This morning I signed a partnership agreement with AIESEC through which students will be offered the opportunity to go abroad for internships and get international exposure. This will be a great way to support the home education that you get at SSE Riga,” says SSE Riga Rector Anders Paalzow.
SSE Riga President and Rector Anders Paalzow emphasises the importance of international experience, which will offer space for students at SSE Riga to grow and will have a lifelong impact.
AIESEC is the world's largest international youth-led non-profit non-governmental organisation. It provides young people with leadership development, cross-cultural global internship and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe, with a focus on empowering young people so they can make a positive impact on society. AIESEC is represented at over 4,000 universities in 126 countries and territories, with a network of approximately 70,000 active members and over 1,000,000 alumni. AIESEC was founded in 1948, after World War II. For over 59 years, AIESEC has been striving to “Empower Young People for Peace and Fulfilment of Humankind's Potential”.
AIESEC in Latvia will later work with the related departments at SSE Riga and the Student Council more closely to provide more leadership development opportunities to students at SSE Riga. Stay tuned to the AIESEC Facebook page.
