March comes with Passion
This year, the first month of spring came with another great event conducted for the Startup Passion project, an international programme that offers free training and mentoring for those who want to develop innovative business ideas (www.startuppassion.eu).
In March, the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga) organized a hackathon for students from Finland, Estonia and Latvia. Altogether, 104 participants spent 3 days at the guest house Turbas outside Ogre developing their business ideas and building cross-border teams.
The event was supervised by our partners Viesturs Sosārs and Dāvis Suneps, who ensured an intense and highly rewarding experience for all participants.
Finnish ambassador Olli Kantanen also visited the event, giving a short and very inspirational speech.
Now the bar has been raised for further Startup Passion project activities and events that will take place later this year.
