EU Co-financing

Receive up to 72% co-financing for employee training from the European Social Fund*. The Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has signed a contract Nr. L-APA-10-0016 with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) about the implementation of project “Productivity Evolution”, which is co-financed by the European Social fund.

A refund for resources invested in employee training and education according to the following scale:

  • Small enterprises - 72.5%, up to 50 employees
  • Medium-size enterprises - 62.5%, from 50 to 250 employees
  • Large enterprises - 52.5%, above 250 employees
  • Societies - 52.5%

Eligibility Criteria

  • Member of Latvian Chamber of Commerce
  • Organisations and companies not operating in weapon, tobacco production and sale; gambling activities; real estate operations; trade; insurance, financial intermediation and banking services; vehicle, machinery, equipment and personal item rental
  • Organisations and companies doing economic activity
  • Organisations and companies without tax debt

Process
 

Step 1: Fill out the application and data about the enterprise
Step 2: Attach a statement about tax payment from the State Revenue Service
Step 3: Submit or mail the documents to the SSE Riga Executive Education Dep. on Strelnieku iela 4a, Riga, LV-1010 (6th floor)
Step 4: Sign a Partners Agreement with the Latvian Chamber of Trade and Commmerce
Step 5: Select your training programme
Step 6: Cover the programme fee
Step 7: Receive re-fund of up to 72.5% within the next six months

Productivity Evolution 

SSE Riga is the official partner of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry training programme www.produktivitate.lv. The aim of the project is to increase the productivity and competitiveness of Latvian enterprises in international markets.
