Summer School on Investigative Reporting

The Summer School on Investigative Reporting is primarily aimed at participants from the Baltic countries and Scandinavia.  Participants from the Baltic countries can apply for a scholarship covering the participation fee.

Successful investigative reporting requires skill, and no one is better suited to teach such skill than experienced and seasoned craftsmen – colleagues with globally recognised reputations. The Centre for Media Studies at SSE Riga invites you to attend the fourth Summer School on Investigative Reporting run by professionals with globally recognised reputations.

The seminars and workshops will, for the most part, be one full day of focusing on each subject rather than on a variety of subjects. Our trademark is to go in-depth on selected topics. On the final day, participants will have an opportunity to listen to summaries of what has been taught in parallel seminars.

As an extra feature for participants travelling to Riga, we will present two seminars on Baltic politics and the Baltic economy.

The Summer School 2017 will take place from August 17–19, 2017.
