Baltic Journal of Economics
The Baltic Journal of Economics is a peer-reviewed scientific journal in economics. It is published jointly by Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga) and the Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies (BICEPS) in cooperation with Routledge. The Journal is intended to provide a publication medium for original research in economics for scholars working on topics relevant for the Baltic states or transition economies in general.
The Journal welcomes contributions which have theoretical or empirical emphasis as well as papers that take a political economy approach to research on transitional economies. Papers with policy relevance or which combine economic theory with empirical findings are particularly welcome.
The Journal aims to stimulate dialogue between scientists in social science, policy makers as well as other decision makers involved with economic development in the Baltic states and other transitional economies. In order to make the journal relevant to a wide audience of academics trained in the social sciences the articles should be presented in a form where explanations and the intuition behind the conclusions should be given priority above technical derivations.
We highly value speed of publication and aim at a fast refereeing process. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single blind and submission is online via Editorial Manager.
The online version of the Baltic Journal of Economics is free access and download. Please visit: Journal website with Taylor & Francis
