The Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies (BICEPS) is an independent research centre located in Riga, Latvia. BICEPS is a part of an integrated network of research centres and universities in the region with partners in the Baltic states, Sweden, Russia, Poland and Ukraine.
BICEPS aim is to undertake and promote high quality policy-oriented research in economics and other social sciences and to provide informed advice and consulting services for both government and business in the Baltic states and elsewhere.
SSE Riga / BICEPS Occasional Papers
We welcome working papers on all subjects, but we are particularly interested in topics that are relevant for the Baltic states. Submissions from authors affiliated with institutions located in the Baltic states, researchers visiting Baltic states and PhD students are especially encouraged. We also welcome policy oriented reports written within EU funded projects.

Baltic Journal of Economics (BJE)
The Baltic Journal of Economics (BJE) is a refereed scientific journal in economics. From the Spring of 2008 it is published jointly by SSE Riga and BICEPS.
The Journal is intended to provide a publication medium for original research in economics for scholars working in the Baltic states or those who are working with topics relevant for the Baltic states or for transition economies in general.

Collaboration with SSE Riga
BICEPS has an especially close collaboration with SSE Riga – Anders Paalzow, the Rector of SSE Riga, is a chairman of BICEPS and some of the BICEPS researchers are also lecturers at the School.
